The Kent County Open Government Project is a public awareness campaign organized by Kent County Families for Fiscal Responsibility, a taxpayer advocacy organization in Kent County, Michigan.
We are a collection of concerned citizens who take an interest in our local municipal, township, and county governments. We work to become engaged in our communities and strive to bring a newfound accountability and trust between the taxpayers and the government.
Our goal is to open up governments’ financial books to every citizen so that following its spending is simple and transparent.
